Two weeks after rejecting a plan to consolidate the Route 66 Business Park to build a truck parking lot, the Braidwood City Council reversed course on April 26, giving the owner the green light to move ahead.
The reconsideration came before the council with an additional preliminary site plan for landscaping and screening at the site.
Attorney Mike Martin, representing the subdivision owner Secure Truck Line, Inc., told the members of the City Council that the proposed parking lot is the proper use for the site as zoned.
