Two Wilmington Middle School wrestlers will compete at state Friday, advancing from the Reed-Custer Sectional.
Eighth grader Landon Dooley placed first while classmate Parker Adams (145) earned third place, earning a trip to state. For Dooley, it’s the second time he’s been at state while Adams will go for the first time.
Dooley (100) was crowned champion during the RCMS Sectional held on Saturday.
Seventh grader Logan Van Duyne (155), seventh grader Jazmine Barrera (167) and eighth grader Tristan Wandless (85) missed out on state qualification for the ‘Cats.
