The Lady Coaler softball team was surprised in the seventh inning Friday when Reed-Custer tallied three runs to rally 4-2.
Reed-Custer scored the opening tally of the game in the fifth inning to take a 1-0 lead on an RBI single.
Coal City (7-11) fired back in the sixth to take a 2-1 lead on a two-run double off the bat of Abbie Cullick.
Reed-Custer came back to win it with three in the final inning, including a two-run home run by Abrey Ricketts.
