Reed-Custer athletes and coaches are at a standstill after the Illinois High School Association met with the Deputy Gov. Jesse Ruiz, the Illinois Department of Public Health and the Illinois Elementary School Association during a virtual meeting last week.
Athletic directors and high school students across the state were hoping for a little more insight as to if and when state officials will give the okay to play sports.
The meeting ended up being just a precursor for the full IHSA board scheduled for today.
