Amelia McInerney

WILMINGTON—Amelia Renee McInerney “Pia”, 6, of Wilmington, IL passed away peacefully at home, Tuesday, Oct. 31, 2017 after a lifelong illness with cerebral palsy.  
Born Sept. 9, 2011 in Chicago, IL.  Amelia loved her family and always loved to be held and sang to.  She especially loved when her twin sister, Baylee would read to her.  She will always be remembered as the “Amazing Amelia”.  
Surviving are her parents: Amber Kruchten of Wilmington and Erick McInerney of Custer Park, IL; her precious twin sister: Baylee Marie McInerney; maternal grandparents: Tammy and Mark Kruchten of Wilmington; paternal grandparents: Richard Korona and Sharon McInerney-Korona of Wilmington; maternal great-grandmother: Leila Rhodes; paternal great-grandmothers: Maryann Korona and Joyce Ruppert; uncle: Adam (Gina) Kruchten; and two cousins: Chase and Connor Kruchten.  
Preceding her in death were her maternal great-grandfather: Dale Rhodes “Paw Paw”; maternal great-grandparents: Roy and Philamena Kruchten; and paternal great-grandfather: Richard E. Korona.  
Funeral services will be at the R.W. Patterson Funeral Home and Crematory, Saturday, Nov. 4, 2017 at 11 a.m. with Pastor Ron Taylor officiating.  Visitation Friday, Nov. 3, from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m.  
Cremation rites will be accorded after services.  
Memorial donations in her name may be directed to Lurie Children's Hospital or to the Ronald McDonald House.
