Ariana Gage

WILMINGTON—Ariana Kay Gage, 14, of Wilmington, passed away unexpectedly Friday, Nov. 3, 2017.
Born April 9, 2003 in Palestine, TX, Ariana Kay was a daughter of Brandius Noble and Patrick (Stacey) Gage. She was attending Joliet West High School, where she was involved with the ROTC Program. Ariana also enjoyed volleyball and softball, as well as volunteering for the Family Life Center (FLC) in Bloomfield, IN. She was an incredible artist who loved music and will be remembered as a genuine caring soul, who was an all-around good girl with a huge heart.
Survivors include her parents, one brother, Payton Gage; one sister, A’lise Gage; her maternal grandparents: Buisha Candius Oaks, of Worthington, IN and Paw Paw Jerry Oaks, of Roan Mountain, TN; paternal grandmother, Patricia Crose, of Grants Pass, OR; uncles and aunts: Michael (Tia) Oaks, of Bicknell, IN; Jerrett (Nicole) Oaks, of Lancaster, SC; Trisha (Aaron) Danton, of Oakridge, OR and Travis (Krista) Gage, of King Fisher, OK; cousins: Ashlyn, Kathleen, Jeena, Michael, Jastin and Jealen Oaks, Normaa Danton and Shelby and Keela Gage, as well as numerous great-aunts, great-uncles and extended family.
Ariana was preceded in death by her paternal grandfather, Marion Gage.
Funeral services were held Monday, Nov. 6, 2017 at Baskerville Funeral Home, 700 E. Kahler Rd. in Wilmington. Reverend Maciej Stelmach officiated, and cremation rites followed the services.
