Chris Mansfield

COAL CITY—Chris Mansfield, 41, of Coal City, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday morning, Dec. 26, 2017 at Loyola University Medical Center in Maywood.
Born July 15, 1976 in Morris, Illinois, Christina Louise is a daughter of Patricia E. (Petty) Mansfield of Coal City and the late Richard L. Mansfield. She was raised and educated in Gardner and graduated from Gardner South Wilmington High School with the Class of 1994.
Chris worked as a dental assistant for over 20 years, and most recently held employment with Naperville Dental Center.
Survivors include her mother Pat; one sister, Tamra Mansfield of Brentwood, Missouri; aunts: Eva Mae Werry, Mary Lue (John) Nortrup, Norma Williams, Mary Lou Williams, Alice Williams, Carol Todd, Linda Holan-McCarty, Anita Wench, Rose Vaughn, and Janis Stadabacher; six uncles and many cousins.
Chris was preceded in death by her father Rick on September 25, 2016; maternal grandparents: James and Jean Petty; paternal grandparents: Ray and Zella Mansfield; four uncles: Ray Mansfield, Jr., Ralph Mansfield, Dean Willams and Roy Williams and one cousin, Randy Countryman.
The family will receive friends on Friday, December 29, 2017 from 2 p.m. until time of funeral service 4 p.m. at Reeves Funeral Home, 75 North Broadway (one block north of Illinois Route 113) in Coal City. Chris’ cousin, Pastor Kyle Stachewicz will officiate.
Cremation rites will be accorded following the services.
Preferred memorials may be made as gifts in Chris’ memory to her family for their distribution.
