Homer Boling Jr.

KENTUCKY—Homer Boling, "Peanut," 36, of Bowling Green, KY, formerly Joliet, passed away Sunday, May 6, 2018 at his residence.
Born July 15, 1981 in Maryville, TN, Homer Glenn Jr. was a son of Cheryl Cuff Moore and Homer G. Boling Sr. He was raised and educated in Joliet, and attended Joliet Central High School. Peanut worked as a laborer for residential construction companies, most recently with Hale Roofing Inc. in Bowling Green, Ky. On June 30, 2017, he married Andrea Perruquet in Bowling Green. Peanut was an avid basketball and Chicago Cubs fan. He also loved to spend time outdoors fishing, or riding his Hayabusa motorcycle.
Survivors include his mother, Cheryl, of Lime Ridge, WI; his wife, Andrea Boling, of Bowling Green; four children: Leah Spalliero, of Joliet; Hannah Boling, of Jonesboro, AR; Nevaeh Boling, of Hannibal, MO and Layla Boling, of Kansas City, MO; two step-children: Amber Parker and Tanner Perruquet, both of Bowling Green; one grandson, Ayden Spallerio, of Joliet; six siblings: Jennie (David Sears) Yanke, of Wilmington; Scott (Ann) Cuff, of Fairfield, IL; Roxie Boling, of Joliet; Thomas Miller, of Lodi, WI; Heather Speers and Larry Glenn, both of Knoxville, TN; his mother-in-law, Ila Couch, of Kentucky; one sister-in-law, Angelina (Oscar) Miranda, of Joliet, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Peanut was preceded in death by his father; paternal grandparents: Ruben and Maryann Boling and maternal grandparents: Chester and Lorraine Cuff.
Cremation rites have been accorded, and a memorial visitation and video tribute will be held Tuesday, May 15, 2018 from 4 p.m. until time of memorial service at 7 p.m. at Reeves Funeral Home, 75 N. Broadway, in Coal City.
