Matthew Moser

COAL CITY—Matthew Moser, 23, of Coal City, passed away Tuesday afternoon, Oct. 31, 2017 at Morris Hospital.
Born Nov. 8, 1993 in Morris, Matthew Charles was a son of John and Karen (nee Cutler) Moser. He was raised and educated in Coal City. Matthew loved the outdoors and spent his free time fishing, hunting and boating. His main passion was cars, especially the classics, which turned into a career for him with body restoration work. Above all, his pride and joy in life was his son Noah.
Matthew was a warm, kind, generous, loyal, loving and forgiving person who was always there for anyone in need.
Survivors include his son: Noah Moser; parents: John and Karen Moser; sister: Madison Moser and brother: Christopher Moser all of Coal City; brother: Andrew Moser and nieces: Faith and Eleanor Moser of Waltham, Massachusetts, and maternal grandparents: George and Barbara Cutler of Punta Gorda, Florida, as well as numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. They all loved him immensely.
Matthew is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents: John and Esther Moser.
Visitation and Video Tribute will be held on Saturday, Nov. 4, 2017 from 12 p.m. until 3 p.m. at Reeves Funeral Home, 75 North Broadway (one block north of Illinois Route 113) in Coal City. A private funeral service will be held at a later time. Following services cremation rites will be accorded.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made as gifts in Matthew's memory to the family for his son Noah's future education.
