"Providing access and education to veterans is an important part of the GCVAC's mission. Educating veterans so they are more aware of the benefits they are eligible for and how to access those benefits is ongoing and an important part of our mission." says Ken Buck, Superintendent of the Grundy County Veterans Assistance Commission.
"We are very fortunate to have the Outreach Team coming to our area each month to help us and the Grundy County Veterans learn more about VA health services."
Flu shots should still be available at these clinics for veterans who are enrolled in the VA health care system. For veterans not enrolled but that are eligible they can get registered at the outreach clinics with a copy of their military discharge document (DD 214).
