William T. Drown

WILMINGTON— William T. Drown, “Bill, Jr.”, 73, of Wilmington, passed away Saturday evening, Nov. 30, 2019 at Morris Hospital.
Born June 15, 1946 in Joliet, William Theodore was a son of William Theodore, Sr. and Edna Hazel (Stainbrook) Drown.
Bill was a collector of Hot Wheels and old movies, especially classic westerns. His favorite pastime included hanging out and visiting with friends at the local Shell Station, and Bill will be remembered for his incredible memory of events and people.
Survivors include his brother, Robert Drown, of West Plains, Missouri; two sisters: Marie Barbour, of West Plains, Missouri; and Debbie (Robert) Eatmon, of Texas; his sister-in-law, Arlene Drown, of Wilmington; and nieces and nephews: James (Laurie) Drown, Kristle (Mike) Menozi, Brandy (Michael) Wooters, Casey (Stacy) Drown, Gary (Debbie) Drown, Annie Douchand, Felicia (Clay) Russell, April (Danny) Riley, Dale (Shera) Barbour, and B.J. (Emily) Drown.
Bill was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Michael Drown; sister, Gloria Sharp; and nephew, Johnny Dean Wilson.
Cremation rites have been accorded, and Bill, Jr. will be laid to rest in Oakwood Cemetery in Wilmington with his parents at a later date.
