RCMS students take flight with kites

At Reed-Custer Middle School, Mr. Bell’s 7th grade science finished the year studying the atmosphere and climate, including winds.

The classes built kites to see how they interact with different wind systems.

After hand-building the kites, the students brought those kites outside to see how the kites held up in the real world flying situation. Some kites flew great, some not as much, but all students had fun!
